Haramaya University (HU) participated in the 24th National Educational Training and Exhibition held from October 30-November 1, 2014 in Hawasa City.
A team of individuals drawn from different sections of HU took part in the event, which was organized by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ministry of Education. HU displayed.
and briefed visitors on major research findings, teaching-learning facilities, community outreach programs as well as historical background and millstones. In addition, journals and different Proceedings and promotional items were distributed. The improved seed varieties, the solar tilt angle measurement project and the community outreach programs received admiration from visitors.
Universities, technical and vocational colleges, regional education bureaus took part in the exhibition and presented new technologies as well as innovation for visitors. The exhibition was a very good opportunity for the institutions to learn from each other, share experiences and to create network for future collaboration.
The exhibition was officially opened by H.E Shiferaw Shigutie, minister of Education. University presidents, students from different colleges and high schools, the community found close to Hawasa visited the exhibition, which was opened for three consecutive days.
