Dr Jemal Yousuf has become the 7th President of Haramaya University.
The presidential selection commitee and the University Adminstration Board sent the three highest scoring candidates’ list to the Ministry of Science & Higher Education on December 25th 2019, and the Ministry appointed Dr Jemal Yousuf to the position starting from December 27th 2019.
For the last three years, in addition to his regular teaching and research works, Dr Jemal has been serving as the Vice-president of Research Affairs Office, and as the University’s Acting President for the last 20 months.
