A total of 30,462 students are undertaking their study in different programs. Of this, 24,157 of them are undergraduate and 4,686 postgraduate students while the rest 1,619 are postgraduate diploma program students. About 75.5% of the regular undergraduate students are enrolled in the fields of Natural Sciences and Technology. The university has 104 undergraduate and 25 postgraduate foreign students coming from different countries.
