Haramaya University Elevates Global Dialogue on Climate Change and Women’s Empowerment

Haramaya University made a substantial contribution to the global climate change discourse by participating in the COP29 climate change conference held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The panel discussion, hosted by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), a strategic partner of Haramaya University, brought together high-level officials, researchers, and policymakers to explore innovative solutions to address climate change challenges and promote gender equality.

UAEU has expressed its intention to visit Haramaya University in January 2025 to solidify their partnership and explore new avenues of cooperation.

These partnerships will enable Haramaya University to contribute to groundbreaking research, capacity building, and sustainable development initiatives.
