Haramaya University honored Ethiopian Airlines with a Certificate of Recognition for its philanthropic efforts in supporting the university’s healthcare initiatives.
The Ethiopian airline was acknowledged for providing complimentary air transport of four tons of medical supplies donated by the Ethiopian diaspora in the U.S., in partnership with Project C.U.R.E.
The award was presented by Dr. Jemal Yousuf, President of Haramaya University, to Mr. Lemma Yadeta, Chief Commercial Officer of Ethiopian Airlines, during a ceremony at Skylight Hotel.
This contribution has enhanced healthcare access in local communities. Both institutions plan to formalize their collaboration with a Memorandum of Understanding to foster joint initiatives for national development.
