Department of Educational Planning & Management conducted an internal curriculum review workshop
Haramaya University College of Education and Behavioral Sciences Department of Educational Planning & Management conducted an internal curriculum review workshop related to PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies on October 12, 2021.
During welcoming speech, Ato Gemechu Abera, Dean of College of Education and Behavioral Sciences of Haramaya University, said education is considered as fundamental means to improve nation’s life, for transformation and sustainable development.
Mr. Gemachu added that the aim of the internal review workshop is to identify and address gaps within an academic program, promote continuous improvement approach within a program, and foster discussion about the curricula.
Dr.Yilfashewa Seyoum, Director of Academic Programs of Haramaya University, on his closing speech said HU is strongly working on expanding and improving the quality of its postgraduate programs and the workshop was attended by internal reviewers, examiners as well as the academic community of HU and constructive comments and suggestions were forwarded from the reviewers and the participants.
