Dr. Richard Wentzell
Background
The Director for Grant Management shall be accountable to the Vice President for Research and Community Engagement and perform the following duties.
• Provide guidance and resources for grantsmanship and proposal development, and serve as point of contact with funding organization/sponsors
• Assist principal investigators review funders/ sponsor's program guidelines and solicitations
• Assist researchers, when requested, revision of draft grant proposals and provide editorial guidance
• Coordinate capacity-building and strengthening activities related to grant writing, management and resource mobilization.
• Reviews and approves proposals, grant and contract budgets for externally funded projects
• Support researchers during proposal, award, and project management stages of the externally funded projects.
• Manage externally funded projects as specified in Guidelines for Externally Funded Projects Administration.
• prepare annual and quarterly reports and submit the same to the Vice President for Research and Community Engagement; and
• perform other duties as may be assigned by Vice President for Research and Community Engagement
