Livestock research station is located in the main campus of Haramaya University. It serves as Animal Science students’ practice, demonstrations and research experiment stations since the establishment of the school of Animal Science. Animal science research stations includes dairy, beef, sheep goat, pig, poultry, fishery, and bee research. The stations have 52 permanent workers to facilitate and support the research activities in the research station
