ℹ️ About the Station

Rare Crop Research Station has served for research, technology demonstration and extension since the establishment of Haramaya University. Located 5.1 km from Haramaya city, it covers more than 10 hectares and includes several sub-stations: a crop research site, protected research site (greenhouse, glasshouse, and lath house), nursery site, farm management site, and floriculture site. The station currently employs 45 permanent workers who facilitate and support ongoing research activities.
