e.g. “The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at HU gave me far more than professional knowledge, it shaped the way I collaborate with students and professionals through its internship program, and how I work and serve as a veterinarian. Beyond anatomy and pathology, I learned discipline, and the responsibility that comes with the profession. The collaborative environment prepared me to contribute not only in clinical but also research settings. Because of this program, I have been able to publish in international journals and serve in respected institutions. I am always proud to carry the name of HU wherever I go.”
Dr. Tigist Shittu, class of 2024, junior researcher at Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI).
