Background
The Department of Management was established in September 2002 under the then Faculty of Business and Economics to produce highly trained manpower that could contribute to the development of Ethiopia in particular and the world in general. The Department offers a Four years regular program leading to BA degree in Management. The Department, since its inception, has been striving to be the centre of academic excellence in the region. The broad vision of the department is to promote excellence in management. The Department is committed to contribute to the sustainable growth of Ethiopian society by developing professional, entrepreneurial and socially responsible individuals who will be the future leaders and managers. Further, it has a mission to produce high quality management graduates to satisfy the needs of both private and public sectors by delivering quality services in the future. The Department of Management has already launched MBA in 2017. With the introduction of this MBA program, the department is achieving its mission by training graduates of high level of competence and professional skills to serve the needs of the various sectors of the country.
