Dr. Kedir Jemal (PhD)

Kedir Jemal is an assistant professor in Economics, currently working in the Haramaya University, Ethiopia and as guest lecture in the University of Hargeisa, Somaliland. He has more than 14 years of experience in academia and research in Ethiopia and Somaliland. He managed and participated in several projects, among these he lead the team as PI that assess the directvalues of pastoralism. Currently, he is working on a project “COVID-19 and Violent Extremism in Ethiopia” funded by the European Institute of Peace. He has experience in teaching and supervision on both graduate and undergraduate level. He also served in different administrative position.
