Haramaya University Women, Children and Youth Affairs Directorate, Conducted a training on Gender and HIV/AIDS mainstreaming issues.

Administrative Directors and team leaders participated on the three day training.

Mrs. Emebet Belete, Director of the University’s Women, Children and Youth Affairs Directorate, in her closing speech noted that the main purpose of the training is to create synergy with all directors and team leaders to incorporate women’s, participation and equity as well as HIV/AIDS prevention in their work activity plans. Mrs. Emebet added that to implement on the practice every concerned body should have taken their responsibility.
