- From February 2021 up to now I am serving as Associate professor in Animal Nutrition at School of Animal and Range Sciences, Haramaya University
- From July 2016 up to February 2021 served as assistant professor in Animal Nutrition at School of Animal and Range Sciences, Haramaya University
- From Sept 2007 up to June 2016 employed and served in Wollo University Department of Animal Science as lecturer and assistant professor. I instructed students in the course poultry and swine production and management; Animal nutrition courses for Animal Science, Veterinary and Rural Development Departments.
- Starting from December 2015 to June 2016 as Director of Gender, HIV/AIDS, and Special needs in Wollo University
- Nine-year experience (1991- 2000) in Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as an expert of animal nutrition development, skin and hide quality improvement and animal marketing development at District level, East Hararge, Oromiya Regional State.
- From Dec, 2014 - 2015 President of Female Faculty Association in Wollo University.
