Background
The Department of Biomedical Sciences in the college of Veterinary Medicine is responsible for the co-ordination of Basic sciences, biomedical teaching and research activities. The Department offers a number of opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate study. The Department of Biomedical Sciences has major teaching and research responsibilities within the DVM professional curriculum: Anatomy, physiology, Biochemistry, histology, embryology, molecular biology.
