Teamwork is power.\u201dMatshona Dhliwayo<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;background: white;margin: 0in 0in 12.0pt 0in\"><span style=\"color: #555555\">Haramaya University College of Social Sciences and Humanities organized training under the theme \u201cEffective Leadership and Followership: The Importance of Team Synergy\u201d for leaders at various levels of the college on June 14, 2022, at the resource center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1267 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.haramaya.edu.et\/cssh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2022\/12\/le-1.jpg\" alt=\"Build Synergy in Managements\" width=\"619\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.haramaya.edu.et\/cssh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2022\/12\/le-1.jpg 619w, https:\/\/www.haramaya.edu.et\/cssh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2022\/12\/le-1-300x79.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.haramaya.edu.et\/cssh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2022\/12\/le-1-24x6.jpg 24w, https:\/\/www.haramaya.edu.et\/cssh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2022\/12\/le-1-36x9.jpg 36w, https:\/\/www.haramaya.edu.et\/cssh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2022\/12\/le-1-48x13.jpg 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;background: white;margin: 0in 0in 12.0pt 0in\"><span style=\"color: #555555\">Dr. Adenew Tadesse, Dean of the College of Social and Human Sciences, in his opening speech, said that leadership has no meaning without followers or employees, and management should involve understanding the art of working together and leading employees to achieve their common goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;background: white;margin: 0in 0in 12.0pt 0in\"><span style=\"color: #555555\">Dr. Adenew also said, \u201cGood leaders and followers must coexist in order to create a good synergy.\u00a0Synergy is when two forces come together and do something much greater than they can individually do. Synergy occurs when leaders and followers collaborate to make a greater impact than they would separately do.
