Program Objectives<\/strong><br \/>Upon completion of the B.A. in History and Heritage Management program, the student will be able to:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Demonstrate a broad knowledge of History &amp; Heritage Management &amp; its role in society<\/li>\r\n<li>Acquire a breadth of historical knowledge across a range of periods and regions and to encourage consideration of links and comparisons between them<\/li>\r\n<li>Promote depth of understanding of historical concepts such as change and continuity, causation and motivation, as well as period-specific concepts such as nationalism, revolution and colonization<\/li>\r\n<li>Develop understanding of historical sources and the methods used by historians<\/li>\r\n<li>Be critical, reflective and independent, able to interpret and evaluate historical source material and offer substantiated explanations to historical questions<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>2. Admission Requirements<\/strong><br \/>As per the criteria of Ministry of Science and Higher Education:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Social Sciences background preferable,<\/li>\r\n<li>An experience of teaching in history, but not mandatory;<\/li>\r\n<li>Transfer from other universities will take the following points into account, \u201cF\u201d free in all subjects; CGPA 2.00<\/li>\r\n<li>Readmission as per Senate Legislations of respective universities.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>3. Graduation Requirements<\/strong><br \/>All students are expected to take a total of 142 credit hours. Students who successfully complete all courses with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and have no \u201cF\u201d grade will be legible for graduation. <strong>4. Degree Nomenclature<\/strong><br \/>The Degree to be awarded to the graduates of this program will be designated as Bachelor of Arts in History and Heritage Management\/ \u12e8\u12a0\u122d\u1275 \u1263\u127d\u1208\u122d \u12f5\u130d\u122a \u1260\u1273\u122a\u12ad \u12a5\u1293 \u1245\u122d\u1235 \u12a0\u1235\u1270\u12f3\u12f0\u122d Grading System.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
