Given the importance of having valid, defensible, comprehensive and fair student selection criteria, the Schools has developed a defensible guideline on the selection criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The criteria include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic achievement (National entrance exam)<\/li>\n<li>Student interest<\/li>\n<li>Department Entrance exam result which is given after completion of 1<sup>st<\/sup> semester of freshman courses<\/li>\n<li>diversity (sex, disability and geography) and<\/li>\n<li>Absence of <strong>major<\/strong> <strong>mental<\/strong> and <strong>physical disabilities<\/strong> that could affect studying and practicing medicine.
