Haramaya University Women Leaders and Teachers Network office, in collaboration with academic vice president office, gave a training on Microsoft office 365 to its members at the College of Agriculture (COA) ICT computer laboratory from June 27 to 28, 2019.

While this training is for the first time in the university, its rationale is to enable the members of the network to immediately and appropriately apply the components in Microsoft Office 365 including managing group institutional email for sharing relevant data or information, videos and activity plans.

Blen Moges, the President of the Network, says that the general objective of the training is for enabling the participants to understand the components available within Microsoft Office 365 and to start the new function within this cloud based suite. Microsoft Office 365 can give confidence and peace of mind to the employees as it helps them know the tools they need in order to unleash their full potentials. It also provides the employees with the ability of working in suitable ways  and it’s all backed by Microsoft’s enterprise-grade security and reliability. As the president says,With Microsoft Office365,  we can easily create files; seamlessly collaborate via real-time co-authoring across desktops, the cloud, and mobile devices; take full advantage of the expertise within a company’s workforce; quickly and efficiently share information among partners. In addition, Microsoft Office 365 enables us to use a single IT platform for calling, conferencing, and sharing across almost any device; to transform business processes; and to improve how projects, tasks, and deadlines are managed.
