The training was given to the students who were from four different departments of the same program.
More than 152 trainees took part in the training conducted for two days, 7- 8 March 2015.
Its objective was to improve the candidates’ research and academic writing skills, which would encourage them to rigorously conduct action researchers based on the challenges they come across in their learning and teaching practice.
It would also help them to participate in various applied research works.

During the opening session of the training, Mr. Melkamu Alemu, English Language Improvement Center coordinator stated that the training would strengthen the candidates’ research and academic writing skills in addition to providing them practical English language learning sessions.
After the end of the training, the candidates also explained that the training helped them in refreshing their research and writing skills.
