What is AIESEC?

AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organization, provides an international platform where young people from over 1,700 universities in 113 countries around world can develop their leadership potentials and explore ways to have a positive impact on society. Established in 1948 by a group of university students who wants to bring cross-cultural understanding and peace after the horrors of WWII, AIESEC has now redirected its focus to building personal networks, exploring future development potentials of youths, and developing young people into leaders of tomorrow. After 64 years in operation, AIESEC remains an independent, nonpolitical, and not-for-profit organization.
